Well folks, soon I will know for sure the answer to this question. I am currently prepping for a dreadful, invasive exam that will tell me once and for all if I actually have Celiac Sprue (meaning allergy to wheat and gluten). It’s so difficult for doctors to detect and it usually ends up being mis-diagnosed. I think it might be a genetic condition, I heard that a lot of Italians have it. Eeek.

Thank you to my loyal students who came to the make-up class today. Although it was impossible to find a sub, I was able to crank out 3 movement classes today on an empty stomach and after having taken some yucky digestive medicine. Thank you for your understanding and support. I love you people.

I’ll keep you posted on what the diagnosis is. About a year ago I actually cut out wheat and gluten from my diet altogether and I ended up feeling much better. The problem is, it’s so easy to “fall off the wagon,” so to speak, because wheat and gluten is so YUMMY!! So I’m seeking definitive proof. Wish me luck. It’s going to be a rough couple of days.
